The IDEA Centre for Educators is a resource library built on developmental science — the research behind how children and youth grow, learn, and thrive in relationship with the adults who care for them.
It is an initiative of the Neufeld Institute, developed and curated by Neufeld Institute faculty, facilitators, and authorized presenters, and sanctioned by Dr. Gordon Neufeld.

The Centre brings together videos, articles, recorded talks, and practitioner stories — all organized around the questions educators actually face:
How do I reach a student who has shut down or pushes me away?
What does behaviour tell me — and what doesn't it tell me?
How do I support emotional health without losing the learning?
How do I work with neurodiverse students in ways that actually help?
What do screens and social media do to the children in my care?
The content draws on attachment science and developmental theory. It is written and recorded by people who work with educators, not just researchers writing for other researchers.
Who it's for
Teachers, school counsellors, administrators, early childhood educators, and others who work with children and youth in any setting.
