Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some QUICK LINKS to help you explore The Neufeld Institute website:

If you have a question about the Neufeld Institute or its offerings and services, please first consult the Frequently Asked Questions below. Should you find your inquiry cannot be answered by any of the answers below, you can contact our office directly.

EVENTS

How can I book a presentation, podcast, or course for a group?

Please use the website inquiry feature. In addition to Dr. Neufeld, we have a team of Neufeld-trained faculty and facilitators who present his attachment-based developmental paradigm.

REGISTRATION

For registration assistance such as help with payment or course access after purchase, please contact our office.

If you registered for a course but didn’t receive a receipt or Welcome email, please first check your Spam or Promotions folder before you reach out to us - thank you.

COURSE DISCOUNTS

Can I receive a discount for enrolling in a scheduled class if I’ve already taken the course?

Yes! If you’ve already taken the same course through our Canadian (English) program, you can join a scheduled class for a re-enrollment fee of $50 CAD. This discount applies if you've previously purchased the course in any format: campus course, on-site, facilitated group, DVD, or Lecture Video.

If the $50 rate doesn’t appear after you enter your email on the registration form, please contact us before you register.

If you only want to regain access to review course materials, you may prefer our upcoming Campus Membership (launching in early 2026). Until then, interim options are available - please contact us for details.

COURSE CERTIFICATES & COURSE CREDIT

Do I receive a certificate at the end of a course?

Yes. We provide a Verification of Attendance certificate for every course. It includes the total course hours as listed in our Course Catalogue. The hours are calculated as twice the number of course sessions plus additional time (listed on the certificate as “___ hours +”), to reflect that the material includes more than just the recorded lectures and that the amount of supplementary resources viewed varies by student.

You’ll find instructions for requesting your certificate in the Wrap-Up section of your course.

If you missed requesting a certificate for a past Virtual Campus course, please contact us.

Can I receive continuing education credits or professional development credit hours for taking Neufeld Courses?

No, we can’t issue formal course credit as we are not an accredited educational institution. However, we do provide a Verification of Attendance certificate for every course, showing the course hours (listed in our Course Catalogue). You can use your certificate along with the course description from our website to apply for credit with your professional body or institution. It is up to each organization to decide whether equivalent credits can be earned through our courses

COURSE ACCESS

How does course access work on your new learning platform?
Each course registration includes 12 months of access to course material and the opportunity to ask questions (your “Study Pass”). The access term is set per course and does not accumulate with each new course registration. Registering for a new course does not automatically include access to your past courses.

How can I access courses I’ve taken in the past?
We’re launching a Campus Membership program in early 2026 that will allow you to access past courses on our new learning platform (including courses purchased in DVD, Lecture Video, Online Campus Course, on-site, or facilitated group class formats). This monthly subscription will also include campus library resources.

In the meantime, we have interim solutions:

  • If you were a Neufeld Institute newsletter subscriber as of September 1, 2025, we will send important access information directly to your inbox in September - please wait to hear from us.
  • If you’re not a newsletter subscriber, please contact us to explore your access options.

What can I expect on your new learning platform?
We look forward to showing you many enhanced features on our new platform, including intuitive navigation, progress tracking, English auto-generated transcripts, and downloadable lecture audio files.

If you’ve registered with us before and are subscribed to our newsletter, your course history will be automatically transferred. Once our Campus Membership program is ready in early 2026, you can access your past courses via a monthly subscription. In the meantime, please stay tuned to your inbox for important access information from us.
