Signing up for a 20 session course in today's world, where time is increasingly restricted and options are overwhelming, takes a leap of courage if not faith. Although we believe that Intensive I is the answer to what many parents and professionals are seeking, we know at the same time that people would not know this before jumping in the deep end.

Our next Intensive I class starts on October 17th, but in order to help individuals decide if this is what they are looking for, we have asked Gordon and faculty member & Intensive I anchor, Karen Bollman, to talk about the course one week ahead of time and respond to questions from potential students.

This course – probably more than any other in our catalogue – was the result of an invitation, or more like a desperate request actually, from a number of Gordon's former university students, clients and associates, to share with them the map that he we operating from. They truly wanted to make sense of the kids in their care, to have a map of their own to go by, not just follow directions from the latest expert in the field. The invitation was embraced by Gordon and the result was a course like none other today. It is the flagship course of the Neufeld Institute, laying the conceptual foundations for making sense of children from inside out. Given that what we see is the primary determiner of what we do, this course has the power to transform the child-adult dance, and in so doing, transform the child as well.
